Braille Signage
Braille is an essential tactile writing system widely used by the blind and visually impaired to read and write. As accessibility standards evolve, Braille and tactile signs are increasingly required in public spaces to ensure inclusivity and compliance.
We are proud to be one of the few sign companies in BC with a manufacturing license for producing Braille signs. Our signs meet all accessibility regulations and are available in a variety of colours to suit your needs.
The Braille System
Each Braille character or cell is made up of six dot positions, arranged in a rectangle containing two columns of three dots each.
A dot may be raised at any of the six positions to form sixty-four permutations, including the arrangement in which no dots are raised.
